TC 8: Comfort

TC 8: Comfort

Tonight I want to say that I am thankful for all the things that bring me comfort.

Today we lost our little female seahorse, Kili. So it’s a bit of a sad day in our house. I’m thankful for all the things that make it feel a little better, things like a hot shower, fleecy pajama pants, a wiggly puppy, warm soup, flannel sheets fresh from the dryer, warm blankets, and a loving husband.

Today, those things have a way of massaging the sadness of losing a pet, so I am truly grateful.

TC 17: Blankets

Me under a blanket.
This time of year, I am especially fond of blankets. In fact, all three drawers of the wardrobe that we use as a media center are filled with throw blankets. And the hamper in our room? It’s actually used for blanket storage. And even the upstairs hallway shelves, oh yes, those are filled with blankets too.

I think I’m addicted.

But really, can you think of anything cozier than a soft blanket on a cold night?

Me under another blanket.

Me under a blanket outside--getting ready to go on a sleigh ride.

Wrapped in a blanket while camping.

Even Ginger likes being under her blankets! (She even has a few to call her own.)
